A hygiene products manufacturer in South America purchased an RRT-260D wet wipe production machine for its OEM and customized orders.
The customer produces disposable wet wipes, cleaning wipes, dry tissues and other related hygiene products. Its wet wipe orders vary considerably in terms of pack quantity, wipe size and nonwoven material.
For this reason, the customer was looking for a machine that could handle different product specifications rather than focusing on maximum production speed.
The main products for this project include 1-piece, 10-piece, 30-piece and 50-piece wet wipe packs.
The main requirements were:
40–70 GSM nonwoven materials
Cleaning wipes and customized wipes
Moderate production speed rather than high-speed production

The RRT-260D is equipped with three sets of folding and cutting devices. For this particular project, the customer uses these units for different production purposes.
One folding and cutting unit is used for single-piece wet wipes, while the other two units are used for multi-piece wet wipes from 10 to 50 pieces per pack.
Single-piece production
One folding and cutting unit is used to produce individually packed wet wipes.
The customer's production speed is approximately:

This configuration is mainly used for single-piece cleaning wipes and customized OEM products.
Multi-piece production
The other two folding and cutting units are used for multi-piece wet wipes.
